Best Time to Visit:

The best time to visit Shimla is from March to June when the weather is still good and the temperature ranges from 15°C to 30°C. The months of November to January are the ideal for experiencing snowfall in Shimla. Skiing and exploring the snow-covered surroundings are also great wintertime hobbies.

1.Visit the Christ Church:

The Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in the subcontinent, serves as an enduring reminder of colonial Shimla. A beautiful example of Neo-Gothic architecture, the church was built in 1857. Everything about the building, from the clock faces to the stained glass windows, is of unparalleled grandeur, and it seems even more amazing when lit up at night. The church has a large pipe organ that is almost a century old.

2.Enjoy walk at the Mall Road:

This place is build by Built by the British during the colonial rule in India, the Mall Road was constructed keeping in mind the traffic on this route. Entry of vehicles was banned though cycle rickshaws were allowed. Mall road is full of sell woolen clothes, branded clothes, handicraft items, pottery items,.ect it also have some famous restaurant  which servers wide range of cuisines from Punjabi and South Indian to Chinese and Continental dishes. Also has fast food joints where you can look out for some yummy pizzas and burgers.

3.The Ridge: 

All of Shimla's significant cultural events are centred around The Ridge. It is only an open area that serves as a gathering place and well-known landmark in the heart of the city. Scandal Point is the location where Mall Road and the Ridge converge on the western side.

4. Visit to Lakkar Bazaar:

Ridge crosses Lakkar Bazar, a bazaar with wooden goods. Lakkar Bazaar is  famous for their wooden toys made by A few Sikh craftsmen who moved to who moved to Shimla centuries ago.

5.Take a Short Trip to Kufri:

kufri is 18 km from Shimla this is less crowded than Manali you can get budget-friendly stay in kufri. Mahasu Peak, Kufri Fun World, and India Tourist Park are some of the  attractions of kurfi. If you visit kurfi in winter during the winter season, you will find skiers from all over the world here enjoying their skiing sessions. Don’t forget to visit Green Valley, a serene natural dale that has been featured in many Bollywood movies.

6. Take the Kalka – Shimla Toy Train Ride:

You will experience nostalgia on this journey.
